Now we're adopting patch clamp technique¡¢ fluorescence measurement technique¡¢ carbon fiber electrode technique and capacitance measurement technique, also combining physical and mathematical theories, to study the signal transduction paths in individual cell , to establish related model, and to further understand the mechanism underlying the physiological significance.
Mainly research fields:
(1) We involved in the electrochemistry detection and dynamic research of secretion from adrenal chromaffin cell, such as the modeling of the exocytosis, in order to understand the process of the neurotransmitter released .
(2) We also care of the cross-membrane signal transduction, like how intracellular free Ca2+ mediated secretion.
(3) We are interested in the neurotoxicology research concerning about ca2+, such as free radical's effects on the intracellular ca2+,etc.
(4) Detection of insulin-activated secretion from pancreatic beta cell by CFE techniuqe is also proposed.
(5) The entire calcium self-regulation courses in SH-SY5Y cell including various factors' effects such as calcium stores, calcium buffering, and so on .
All these studies about intracellular Ca2+ self-regulation and secretion process are the most advanced cell function researches.
